I don't mean to be gross, but the paleo diet can give some people the shits. This is rarely a deterrent for people to TRY the diet, but if it happens to them and they can't solve it, they quit.

Here's what I've found to work: taking Betaine HCL at every meal (more about Betaine on the Supplements page under the Lifestyle section), and adding probiotics in the morning if that doesn't handle it.
